Machine Gun Kelly Refuses to Say “3 Mean Things About Taylor Swift” on Hot Ones Versus

In a recent episode of Hot Ones Versus, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) faced off against fellow musician Trippie Redd in a spicy challenge. The show, which turns the traditional Hot Ones interview format into a competition, requires celebrities to eat increasingly hot wings every time they refuse to answer their rival’s spicy questions.

The Daring Dare

During the episode, Trippie Redd dared MGK to “burn that bridge” by saying “three mean things about Taylor Swift.” The catch? Taylor Swift is the pop-superstar girlfriend of MGK’s close friend, Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. The Swifties, Taylor Swift’s devoted fanbase, are known for their fierce loyalty, and MGK was not about to mess with them.

MGK’s Perfect Response

With a knowing smile, MGK responded, “Ladies and gentlemen, you have got to be out of your motherf—ing mind if you think I want any smoke with that fanbase.” He continued, “Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me, and Travis is my bro.” Clearly, MGK wasn’t taking the bait, and he had nothing but kind words for both Swift and Kelce.

A Bonus for Kelce

MGK also addressed the $1 million offer he made to Travis Kelce to leave the Kansas City Chiefs and play for his hometown Cleveland Browns. Critics had questioned whether the offer was too low, but MGK clarified, “I said I would give him $1 million spending money on top of whatever the NFL gives him. I’m not the f—ing NFL, so I obviously don’t have to pay him $30 million or $40 million. I said I’ll give you a bonus.”

Swift Knowledge and Ohio Connection

As MGK ate his hot wings as punishment for skipping the Taylor Swift question, he showed off his Swift knowledge by singing, “Trouble, trouble, trouble,” from her 2012 hit single “I Knew You Were Trouble.” The rapper has known Travis Kelce since their high school days as crosstown sports rivals in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to their Ohio connection, MGK performed at Travis’ inaugural Kelce Jam festival in Bonner Springs, Kansas, last April.

A Respectful Stance

MGK’s refusal to say mean things about Taylor Swift demonstrates his respect for both her and his friend Travis Kelce. Sometimes, it’s better to keep the peace and avoid any unnecessary drama—especially when dealing with the Swifties!
