Lana Del Rey, the iconic songstress known for hits like “Summertime Sadness,” recently expressed her admiration for Camila Cabello’s upcoming music. On March 23, Lana took to Instagram to show some love for Cabello’s teased song. Accompanying two black-and-white photos of the “Senorita” singer, Lana captioned her post with a simple “i luv it.”
In one snapshot, the newly blonde artist is seen with a lollipop in her mouth, and the “Parental Advisory” warning appears in the bottom right corner. The other image captures Cabello donning an off-the-shoulder white top while playfully flipping off the camera.
Cabello, in response, left a series of crown emojis in the comments section of Lana’s post and also shared it on her own Instagram Story.
Earlier in March, Cabello had tantalized fans with a 30-second teaser of her upcoming untitled single. In the clip, she rides in the passenger seat of a car, her blonde tresses whipped by the wind, singing an exuberant, summery pop ditty. The lyrics include the lines, “I’m seeing stars/ Oh my God/ I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it,” followed by a hand heart. The song features a sample from Gucci Mane’s 2009 track “Lemonade.”
Cabello’s last album, “Familia,” released in 2022, included the Billboard Hot 100 hit “Bam Bam.” During a podcast interview, she revealed that her upcoming album has been a transformative journey, returning to her passion for songwriting.
Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey announced her next album, “Lasso,” set to arrive in September. She made the announcement while paying tribute to Jack Antonoff at the Billboard and NMPA Songwriter Awards in Los Angeles. Del Rey’s previous release, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Both artists continue to captivate audiences with their unique styles, and fans eagerly await their new music. Stay tuned for more updates! 🎶🌟
